Visit by International Social Service Portugal to the German Association (ISD)

This week, Dina Dias and Filipa Cavaleiro from International Social Service Portugal (Appassi) are visiting the International Social Service at the German Association for Public and Private Welfare (Deutscher Verein für öffentliche und private Fürsorge e.V.).

The focus of the visit is the Portuguese professionals’ interest in learning about the Central Contact Point for Cross-Border Child Custody Disputes and Mediation (https://zank.de/en/ ), a role the ISD has fulfilled within the German Association since 2010 with great success and almost 3,000 consultations a year. The colleagues would also like to set up a central point of contact, modelled on the German system, in collaboration with their respective ministries.
